Hi, my name’s Lucy and I want to be a writer when I grow up. Actually, I don’t want to wait until I grow up because that will take way too long, so I’m going to start writing stories all about what happens in Ballyyahoo now and I am going to put my stories right here on this blog.
A WITCH IN TOWN
This is the first time I’ve blogged about Ballyyahoo. In fact, it’s the first time I’ve blogged about anything at all, but I had to start, you see someone had to tell the world that there might just be a Witch in town.
I can tell you all about what happens in Ballyyahoo but I can’t tell you exactly where Ballyyahoo is because if I did, my mum would skin me alive and leave me outside for the crows to take. You see my mum says if you put your address on the Internet every Tom, Dick and complete psycho-lunatic will come and find you and do terrible things…so I’m going to keep it a secret.
I’m very, very good at keeping secrets, so all I’m going to tell you is that Ballyyahoo is not too far from some great hills and woodlands and our tiny town lies between a rocky bay and a secret beach on the west coast of Ireland. There are lots and lots of rocky bays and secret beaches on the west coast of Ireland so it’s not a very big clue really.
NATURE IN BALLYYAHOO
Besides having lovely rocky bays and secret beachs, Ballyyahoo has lots of farms. It rains nearly every other day and that means there are plenty of bogs and streams as well. We also have many types of animals, including these three lovely donkeys. I love animals and I love taking pictures of them too, so if you come here often, not only will you learn more about the witch of Ballyyahoo you’ll be able to see all our animals too!
Come back soon and don’t forget to say hello in the comments!
